iHeartMedia Country “Big 97.9” KXBG Cheyenne WY/Fort Collins CO has launched “Big Mornings with Johnny Wilde”.
Jonathan Wilde returns to radio after a seven year hiatus before-which he spent two decades in Denver with stints including morning co-host at Country 98.5 KYGO from 1998 to 2006, morning host at Classic Hits “Kool 105” KXKL and afternoon host at Country “92.5 The Wolf” KWOF from 2007-09, PD/morning host at KWOF from 2004 to 2014, and morning host at AC 101.1 KOSI from 2014-17. He has also hosted mornings at KKMG Colorado Springs and worked at KISR Fort Smith AR.
Wilde takes the morning slot that had been held by Scott James & Sadie Koehler until last Fall.
iHeartMedia Fort Collins’ Big 97.9, NoCo’s Number 1 for New Country, announced today the debut of “Big Mornings with Johnny Wilde,” the new morning show with three-time CMA Major Market Personality of the Year Jonathan Wilde, effective immediately. “Big Mornings with Johnny Wilde” will broadcast weekdays from 5 a.m. – 10 a.m.
On the show, Wilde will play Nashville’s biggest country artists while keeping listeners informed on local news and current events.

Jonathan Wilde joins the iHeartMedia Fort Collins market with years of experience. He has previously served as the Morning Show Host at KOSI-FM, Program Director and Morning Show Host for KWOF-FM, Morning Show Host for KYGO-FM and Morning Show Host for KKMG-FM. He began his career at KISR in Fort Smith, Arkansas and is a graduate of Arkansas State University.
