Johanny Rodriguez Joins Rumba 106.1

Johanny Calderon Rumba 106.1 WUMR PhiladelphiaiHeartMedia Spanish CHR “Rumba 106.1” WUMR Philadelphia has appointed Johanny Rodriguez as midday host.

Rodriguez previously worked on air at “Ritmo 98.5” 1460 WIFI Burlington NJ and in PR in her native Dominican Republic. She commented, “I’m excited to connect with our vibrant community every day on Rumba 106.1. This is more than just radio — it’s about celebrating our culture, sharing our stories, and bringing people together. I can’t wait to be a voice that resonates with the heart of Philadelphia.”

With the addition of Rodriguez to the lineup, “Tú 94.9” WZTU Miami evening host Jessi Dee will now be heard in that daypart in Philadelphia as Larry ‘Yako’ Calderon comes off the schedule to focus on his new role as Program Director of CHR “Y100” WHYI Miami.
