Joey Tack Joins WLHK As APD/Morning Host

Emmis Country “97.1 Hank-FM” WLHK Indianapolis has hired Joey Tack as its new Assistant Program Director and morning host.

Tack will accompany incumbent co-host Mindy Winkler starting Tuesday, September 7. He fills the opening created by the departure of Caleb James in July.

Tack most recently programmed Bonneville Country 105.1 KNCI Sacramento until stepping down at the expiration of his contract at the end of June. Prior to joining KNCI in June 2019, Tack spent fourteen years at SummitMedia Rhythmic CHR “Hot 104.5” WKHT Knoxville rising from Music Director/nights to PD/afternoons during his tenure. He has also worked in his native Iowa at Clear Channel Quad Cities as MD/night host at “All Hit 98.9” WHTS-FM.
