After departing as morning co-host at Cumulus Media Classic Rock “99.9 The Hawk” WODE Easton/Allentown PA in May, Joel Shimer has joined iHeartMedia Rock 95.1 WZZO Bethlehem/Allentown as midday host.
Shimer joined WODE in 2016 while in high school. He has served as producer for Rick Michaels’ morning show beginning in 2019 and rose to co-host in February 2021. He joined iHeartMedia this summer and has been tracking nights at Country 94.7 WDSD Dover DE.
