Jim Loftus Departs Seven Mountains Media To Join Times-Shamrock As CEO

After a little over five years as Chief Operating Officer at Seven Mountains Media, Jim Loftus is exiting the company to join Times-Shamrock Communications as Chief Executive Officer.

Loftus will succeed Jim Lewandowski, who will step down from the position on December 31. Loftus previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Times-Shamrock from 1997 until 2005. Spending his entire career in Pennsylvania beginning on-air, Loftus has also served as Director of Sales for WFIL and WUSL Philadelphia, VP/General Manager of Susquehanna Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and CBS Radio Philadelphia, and President/CEO of AC 101.1 WBEB Philadelphia during his career. He joined Seven Mountains in October 2018 where he was part of the group’s growth across Pennsylania, the southern tier of New York and most recently Kentucky.

After selling its newspaper and printing businesses earlier this year to MediaNews Group, Times-Shamrock continues to own a billboard business as well as a radio station group of Classic Rock “100.7 The Bay” WZBA Westminster and 100.1 W261CD Baltimore, 103.1 KACP Pahrump and 106.1 KACP Amargosa Valley/K291BX Las Vegas NV, and a cluster of stations in its home of Scranton/Wilkes-Barre PA: AC “QFM” 92.1 WQFM Nanticoke/100.1 WQFN Forest City, Classic Rock “Rock 107” 106.9 WEZX Scranton/105.9 WPZX Pocono Pines/1240 WFUZ Wilkes-Barre and multiple translators, and Sports “ESPN Radio” 630 WEJL/100.5 W263AL Scranton and 96.1 W241BB Wilkes-Barre. The company also owns 50% of the Milwaukee Radio Alliance with All-Pro Broadcasting that operates AC “B93.3” WLDB, Alternative “FM 102.1” WLUM and Oldies “Fonz-FM” 1290 WZTI/100.3 W262CJ/107.3 W297BY.
