Beasley Media Country “Kicks 99” 99.5 WKXC-FM Aiken SC/ Augusta GA has announced the addition of Jess Poxson to its “Kicks Wake Up Crew” alongside Bryan ‘Dub’ Axelson.
Poxson spent most of her career in Detroit previously serving as APD/Midday host at “93.1 Nash-FM” WDRQ and and weekends/fill-ins at Hot AC 96.3 WDVD, CHR “98.7 Amp Radio“, Country 99.5 WYCD, and Classic Hits 104.3 WOMC.
At WKXC-FM, Poxson takes the place of Jenny Perry Bender, who departed in March, and Sean ‘Cash’ Varicalli, who moved to Midwest Communications AC “Mix 92.9” WJXA Nashville earlier this month.
Beasley Media Group announces Jess Poxson has been named as the new Morning Show co-host of the “KICKS Wake up Krew” on WKXC-FM in Augusta, GA. She officially began her position alongside Co-host “Dub” Bryan on Monday, August 9, 2021.
Poxson most recently lived in Canton, GA before moving to Augusta. She was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, where Poxson started her radio career on mornings at WDRQ-FM, before moving into afternoon drive & swing shift/weekends on WYCD-FM and WDZH-FM.
