The Ed Lover Show has come to an end in mornings at Audacy Classic Hip Hop “104.3 Jams” WBMX Chicago.
Lover, who joined WBMX in April 2018, will remain with Audacy to launch a nationally syndicated evening show. He already began tracking nights on “94.7 The Block” WXBK New York in March.
Jennifer ‘Jen BT’ Farina, who has co-hosted mornings with Lover since his debut in Chicago, will take over the morning slot for the newly minted “Jams Throwback Mornings With Jen BT”. Farina previously served as a programming assistant at iHeartMedia Chicago and as Assistant Program Director at Smooth Jazz 95.5 WNUA before joining WBMX.
Lover, who is best known for his run co-hosting “Yo! MTV Raps” and in mornings at “Hot 97” WQHT New York with the other Doctor Dre in the 1990s, also anchored an Atlanta based syndicated show for Radio One from 2015 until the end of 2017.
