Alpha Media has appointed Jeff Cochran as Operations Manager of its Fredericksburg VA cluster and Program Director/afternoon host of Country 93.3 WFLS.
Cochran joins Alpha from the similar Director of Content position at Townsquare Media St. George UT. He came to St. George for then Cherry Creek Media in March 2021 after previously spending thirteen years as SVP/Programming for iHeartMedia Salt Lake City and PD of Classic Hits 94.1 KODJ and “Rock 106.7” KAAZ. He has also programmed WLIT Chicago, KOSI Denver, KEZK St. Louis, KMZQ Las Vegas and served as RVP/Programming for Clear Channel Boise.
Cochran succeeds Bill West, who had announced his retirement last year and did his final airshift on Friday, April 28.
