Co-host JC Fernandez has exited “Mercedes In The Morning” at Audacy Hot AC “Mix 94.1” KMXB Henderson/Las Vegas NV.
Outside of a five year run as morning show producer at “Z104” WWZZ Washington DC from 2001-2005, Fernandez has been part of KMXB’s morning show since 1998. He started with the station the year prior before becoming producer of “Mark & Mercedes”. Following the departure of Mark Diceiro at the end of 2014, Fernandez rose to co-host alongside Mercedes Martinez. He has also co-hosts “Las Vegas Now” on KLAS-TV and “Cars, Shops and Collections” on YouTube.
Fernandez shared, “After 27 incredible years, my time at Mix 94.1 has come to an end. I’ve been thinking about what to say in this post and when it comes down to it, what I really want to say is simple: Thank you! To the listeners—your voices, your stories, and your energy have made these years unforgettable. Meeting so many of you in person and feeling your support day after day is something I will always cherish. Many of you have become close friends, even family. I am forever grateful. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making these 27 years so special. I’ll carry these memories with me forever.There are so many memories to share and reflecting on a 27-year relationship deserves its own moment, more to come. 2025 begins a new era for me… I truly believe that life happens for you, not to you!”
Audacy has begun the search for a new co-host to join Martinez and producer Stephanie Sidel.
