After being cut from afternoons at Beasley Media Classic Hits 105.7 WROR Framingham/Boston in June, Jaybeau Jones is joining Binnie Media’s trio of Classic Hits “Frank-FM” stations in New Hampshire.
Jones will host mornings from 6-10am on 106.3 WFNQ Nashua/Manchester, 98.3 WLNH-FM Laconia/Concord, and 98.7 WBYY Somersworth/Portsmouth starting Monday, August 5. Current 6am-12pm host Angie C will move to middays from 10am to 3p, while 12-6pm host and WFNQ General Manager Chris ‘Doc’ Garrett will host afternoons from 3-7pm.
Jones had spent ten years in afternoons at WROR. He previously has programmed WBMX and WODS Boston, WUBT Chicago, WKSS Hartford, and was Director of Operations for Citadel Worcester along with on-air roles WXKS-FM Boston, WHTZ New York and WPJB Providence. He will also continue to anchor mornings on SiriusXM’s “70s on 7″.
Binnie Media EVP/Programming & Operations Heath Cole said, “We are thrilled to welcome Jaybeau to our esteemed lineup of A-level talent at Binnie Media. We are equally excited to announce Frank FM as his first affiliate with Personality On Demand.”
Jones added, “Finally, I get to relive my childhood and hang out on Lake Winnipesaukee! New Hampshire is like a second home. I have wonderful family memories of Summers in New Hampshire. Coming to Frank is like being back home.”
