As stations reset following the end of the holiday season, iHeartMedia AC “106.7 Lite-FM” WLTW maintains its lead 14.3 to 7.7. iHeart Classic Rock “Q104.3” WAXQ rises 5.9 to 6.6. Audacy Classic Hits 101.1 WCBS-FM surges up 4.4 to 6.2. iHeart CHR “Z100” WHTZ gains 4.6 to 5.5. MediaCo Adult R&B 107.5 WBLS is fifth 4.7 to 4.8.
SBS Spanish Tropical “Mega 97.9” WSKQ dips 4.6 to 4.3, but it’s stream rises 0.9 to 1.2. Audacy News 1010 WINS/92.3 WINS-FM rises 3.9 to 4.7. Audacy’s Hot AC “New 102.7” WNEW trends down 4.4 – 3.9 – 3.7.
Red Apple Media Conservative Talk 770 WABC trends up 2.8 – 3.0 – 3.5, while iHeartMedia’s 710 WOR is up 1.2 to 1.7.
Not a good monthly for the Hip Hop stations. iHeartMedia’s “Power 105.1” WWPR-FM trends down 2.2 – 1.8 – 1.7. MediaCo’s “Hot 97” WQHT is down 1.9 to 1.6. Audacy Classic Hip Hop “94.7 The Block” WXBK holds at a 1.3 share.

iHeartMedia AC 103.5 KOST leads down 12.6 to 7.0. Audacy Classic Hits “K-Earth 101” KRTH trends up 5.1 – 5.8 – 6.2. iHeart News/Talk 640 KFI gains 4.6 to 5.5. Audacy Rhythmic AC “94.7 The Wave” KTWV trends back up 3.9 – 4.1 – 5.0. iHeartMedia Hot AC “104.3 My-FM” KBIG is up 4.5 to 4.6.
iHeartMedia Alternative “Alt 98.7” KYSR trends up 2.4 – 2.7 – 3.0. Entravision Spanish Adult Hits “Jose 97.5/107.1” KLYY/KSSC/KSSE jumps up 1.8 to 2.5.
After unsubscribing last month, Meruelo Media’s stations return to the listings. Just like New York, the Hip Hop battle is compressed with iHeartMedia’s “Real 92.3” KRRL holding at a 2.1 share and Meruelo’s “Power 106” KPWR at a 1.7. Meruelo Classic Hip Hop 93.5 KDAY despite no signal in the San Fernando Valley registers a 1.9 share.

Service Broadcasting Adult R&B “105.7 Smooth R&B” KRNB surges up to a second place tie 3.5 – 4.2 – 4.7, which Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is a tenth off of its record high set in November 2022. Audacy Classic Hits “98.7 The Spot” KSPF rises 4.2 to 4.7. iHeartMedia AC “Star 102.1” KDGE places fourth down 10.3 to 4.5. Univision Regional Mexican “Que Buena 94.1” KLNO rises 3.2 to 4.3.

Audacy Regional Mexican “La Grande 107.5” KMVK rises 2.2 to 3.1, while sister “Alt 103.7” KVIL is up 2.5 to 3.1.

Radio One R&B Oldies “Classix 107.9” WPPZ trends up 2.1 – 2.6 – 2.9. Audacy Conservative Talk 1210 WPHT is up 1.7 to 2.2 (with its stream holding at a 0.7 share).
iHeartMedia CHR “Q102” WIOQ is down 2.1 to 1.9, which Huff notes is the station’s lowest share since Spring 1979 when it was a precursor to AAA.
