Jade Alexander Takes Mornings At Hits 97.3 Miami

Hits 97.3 Rhythm of Miami WFLCCox Media Group Rhythmic Hot AC “Hits 97.3” WFLC Miami has introduced Jade Alexander as its new morning host.

Alexander most recently hosted middays on Audacy Classic Hits “102.7 The Beach” WMXJ from 2016 to 2019. She has spent her entire career in South Florida starting with an eleven year run co-hosting mornings at CHR “Y100” WHYI from 1990 to 2001. She also co-hosted afternoons at Univision’s “Salsa 98.3” WRTO from 2003 to 2005 and has served as an entertainment reporter and host for CBS’ WFOR-TV from 1999 to 2008.

Cox Media Group (“CMG”) today announced that Jade Alexander has been named Morning Host for HITS 97.3 The Rhythm of Miami, effective today.

Alexander, a native of South Florida, is known for her many years as a local radio personality and television Entertainment Reporter and News Anchor.

HITS 97.3 was relaunched in September 2021 as Rhythmic HOT AC The Rhythm of Miami, playing hits by music’s biggest names, such as Dua Lipa, Maroon 5, Rihanna and Justin Timberlake.
