Jackson County Broadcasting Acquires Chillicothe Trio

The Alan Stockmeiser led Jackson County Broadcasting is continuing its growth in southeastern Ohio with the acquisition of three stations from companies held by Gerald Davis for $750,000.

Jackson County Broadcasting will acquire Crystal Communications’ Corp.’s Country “100.9 Cash-FM” WXIZ and Southern Gospel 660 WXIC/95.9 W240DZ Waverly and Piketon Communications’ CHR “Q100” 100.1 WXZQ Piketon. The deal includes the land where WXIC and WXIZ’s towers are located.

Jackson County Broadcasting owns six stations and two translators around Athens and Jackson OH.
