iHeartMedia has resurrected the “96 Rock” brand in Atlanta after fifteen years.
Previously residing on 96.1 WKLS from 1974 to November 2006, this version of the “96 Rock” brand exists exclusively on the iHeartRadio app with a 70s through 90s Classic Rock format.
The station includes occasional drops from previous WKLS on-air talent including former “Regular Guys” morning host Larry Wachs and longtime personality Willard.
CHR “Power 96.1” WWPW continues to operate on the 96.1 frequency in Atlanta.
