iHeartMedia Promotes Joe ‘Crash’ Albrecht To Anchorage/Fairbanks SVP/Programming

Joe Crash Albrecht 100.5 The Fox iHeartMedia AnchorageiHeartMedia has promoted Joe ‘Crash’ Albrecht to SVP/Programming for its Anchorage and Fairbanks AK stations.

Albrecht has been with iHeart Anchorage for over 25 years most recently serving as Program Director of Sports “550 The Zone” KTZN, News/Talk 650 KENI, and Classic Rock “100.5 The Fox” KBFX, the latter of which he also hosts afternoons. He also has worked at Ingstad Broadcasting Anchorage.

Albrecht stated, “I’m beyond excited to embark on this new chapter with iHeart Alaska. Having started my career here in Anchorage over 35 years ago, it’s a full-circle moment. I look forward to working with the talented team here to take these longstanding, heritage brands to even greater success. I’m grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to get started,”

He fills the opening created by the recent retirement of Mark Murphy, who also hosted mornings at AC “Magic 98.9” KYMG Anchorage.
