Hope Media Group is acquiring Brokered Caribbean 93.5 WVIP New Rochelle NY from the estate of William O’Shaughnessy’s Hudson-Westchester Radio for $8.15 million.
The move marks Hope Media Group’s, the owners of the Christian AC “Way FM” network and 89.3 KSBJ Houston, entry into the New York City market. WVIP operates with 1.75kW/132m from near the Bronx/Westchester County border targeting the northern half of the market.
Hudson-Westchester Radio retains 1460 WVOX New Rochelle.
