Audacy AC “Majic 95.5” KKMJ Austin drops from its 2020 record high of 13.1 down to 12.6 in Holiday 2021.
Capitol Broadcasting AC “Mix 101.5” WRAL-FM rises from a 9.0 in 2020 to 10.4 this year. iHeartMedia’s “Christmas 95.3” stunt adds an additional 2.5 share filling the role that Curtis Media’s stunting on 570 WPLW/92.9 W225DF did in 2020 with a 1.6 share. iHeartMedia AC “Mix 99.5” WMAG Greensboro also had a 2.5 share in Raleigh in 2020, but is not listed in the Raleigh numbers this year.
Emmis AC “B105.7” WYXB Indianapolis rebounded up to a 15.5 share this year after falling from an 18.2 in 2019 to 13.1 in 2020.
The Christmas battle in Milwaukee narrowed with the addition of a third entrant. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “95.7 Big-FM” WRIT-FM drops 10.4 to 9.8 year-to-year, while Milwaukee Radio Alliance AC “B93.3” WLDB rises 8.5 to 9.1. Saga’s “Pure Oldies 106.9” WRXS-FM makes a first-time move to Christmas music registering a 1.9 share.
Midwest AC “Mix 92.9” WJXA Nashville is up slightly from 15.0 to 15.1 this year. Salem Christian AC “94 The Fish” WFFH trends down 4.0 in 2019, 2.8 in 2020, to 2.1 in 2021.
Cumulus AC “Lite 105.1” WWLI Providence trends down 16.8 – 15.1 – 14.2 over the past three Holiday monthlies.
Audacy AC “101.3 2WD” WWDE is up 12.4 to 12.6. That also breaks the three year streak for sister Adult R&B “95.7 R&B” WVKL, which rose 10.2 to 10.6 month-to-month, but failed to lead the market for the first time since Holiday 2018. iHeartMedia Rhythmic AC “Movin 107.7” WMOV-FM has a year-to-year jump from 3.8 in 2020 to 6.3 in 2021.
Renda AC 96.1 WEJZ Jacksonville rebounds from 15.1 in 2020 to 15.9 this year.
iHeartMedia AC “Mix 99.5” WMAG Greensboro slips from its 16.8 share in 2020 to 14.1 this year. Sister Adult R&B 97.1 WQMG continues to post high numbers as it slips 13.0 to 11.5 month-to-month due to the separation of its stream into a distinct listing, which adds an additional 1.9 share.
Hubbard Classic Hits “Sunny 107.9” WEAT-FM West Palm Beach rebounds from an 8.7 in 2020 to 12.0 in 2021. iHeartMedia AC “Kool 105.5” WOLL is off slightly from 6.8 in 2020 to 6.6 in 2021.
Audacy AC “104.5 The River” WRVR surges up from 8.8 in 2020 to 14.0 in 2021. The gain can be attributed to the summer demise of Cumulus Soft AC “98.9 The Bridge” WKIM-FM, despite it only registering a 1.5 share in 2020.
Audacy AC “Lite 100.5” WRCH Hartford is up from a 17.5 to 18.6. Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes that is its largest share ever registered breaking the 18.4 in Holiday 2019.
