Sam Thompson was announced as this year’s winner of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here on the ITV show last night.
The Hits Radio weekday evening host was crowned King of the Jungle ahead of runners up Tony Bellew and Nigel Farage.
Sam, who was the bookmaker’s favourite to win said he was overwhelmed at winning and didn’t think he would ever be invited on the show, let alone sitting on the winner’s throne.
He told Ant and Dec that it was like living a dream he didn’t want to wake up from and that he felt like the luckiest person in the world.
When Sam was asked what he had to say to those who voted for him to win, he said: “I’m so grateful, thank you so much. I’ve dreamed of doing this show for years and years and you’ve made a boy’s dream come true.”
HE DID IT!
