Hits Radio Pride changes to Hits Radio EuroPride for Eurovision

Hits Radio Pride is becoming Hits Radio EuroPride to celebrate Eurovision this weekend.

The station’s schedule will reflect the competition with radio presenters from across Europe coming together to discuss their chances of taking the top spot at 11am and 7pm every day.

After Hits Radio Breakfast presenters Fleur East, James and Matt kick off Saturday morning from Liverpool the station is going 100% Eurovision, with non-stop hits and throwbacks.

Plus a series of specials looking at what makes a good Eurovision song, why Sweden is such a Eurovision success story, and the 25 years that have passed since the last time the UK hosted after Katrina & The Waves won.

Mae Muller, Loreen, and Alessandra will all feature and there’s a rundown of the top 30 Eurovision hits of all time – according to the team at Hits Radio. Plus Stephanie Hirst will have an hour of ‘Euro-Belters’ at 8pm.

Stephanie said: ‘If you aren’t lucky enough to be in Liverpool for Eurovision itself Hits Radio Euro-Pride is absolutely the next best thing. We’ll be bringing you the tunes, the talent and the tales of Eurovision – you won’t want to miss it!’

And sister station Hits Radio isn’t missing out either with the Breakfast team of Fleur East, James and Matt hosting a week of shows building up to the team coming from the Radio City Tower in Liverpool on Friday and Saturday morning.

They’ll be chatting to Sam Ryder and 2023 hopeful Mae Muller plus the team will be taking a tour on the Mersey by Pedalo with the Greek entry Victor Vernicos, as well as hanging out with the thousands of European visitors in Liverpool.
