Cox Media Group Rhythmic AC “Hits 97.3” WFLC Miami debuted the Jade Alexander Show this morning as morning host Jade Alexander is now joined by ‘Just Ben’ and comedian Brittany Brave.
Alexander joined WFLC as solo morning host in January after previously hosting middays on Audacy Classic Hits “102.7 The Beach” WMXJ from 2016 to 2019. She has spent her entire career in South Florida starting with an eleven year run co-hosting mornings at CHR “Y100” WHYI from 1990 to 2001. She also co-hosted afternoons at Univision’s “Salsa 98.3” WRTO from 2003 to 2005 and has served as an entertainment reporter and host for CBS’ WFOR-TV from 1999 to 2008.
Brave, a nationally touring stand-up based in Miami, has been hosting weekends on WFLC since January.
CMG Radio in Miami announced today the launch of The Jade Alexander Show effective immediately. The show is led by radio personality Jade Alexander, who has been doing mornings solo since January. Jade will be adding Just Ben and comedian Brittany Brave.
“Things really do happen in 3’s,” Jade Alexander said. “Ten months ago, I came back to the building where my radio career began. I also returned to my rhythmic roots, and now it’s full circle to a local, fun and creative morning show. Get ready for some old school-new vibe entertainment!”
“I can’t wait for people to hear this show. This is the perfect mix for a successful morning show that we specifically cast to be focused on the community. It’s funny and entertaining,” said Ian Richards, Director of Branding and Programming.
Brittany Brave added, “It’s excited to bring something unique, refreshing and funny that both South Florida locals and those newer to the area can welcome into their everyday routine”
