Heather Cohen Rises To President of The Weiss Agency

Broadcast talent management firm The Weiss Agency has announced the promotion of Heather Cohen to President under Founder/CEO Eric Weiss.

Cohen rises from Executive Vice President, a role she has held since joining the company in 2007. Cohen began her career as producer of The Joan Hamburg show at 710 WOR New York in 1998 before rising to Assistant Program Director at the station. She then spent two years as VP/Programming for ill-fated Women’s Talk network GreenStone Media before joining Weiss.

Cohen also serves as President of the Executive Board of Hofstra University’s Alumni Organization, on the Board of Directors of both Alliance for Women in Media and Broadcasters Foundation of America, and current co-chair of the Gracie Awards.
