iHeartMedia CHR “Z107.7” KSLZ St. Louis has announced the appointment of Dustin ‘Haze’ Monroe as Assistant Program Director and afternoon host.
Haze previously hosted nights at KSLZ from 2006 to 2009. He most recently hosted afternoons at Audacy Hot AC “Y98” KYKY St. Louis from 2020 until exiting last July and spent five years at CHR “Now 96.3” KNOU from 2015-20 under Emmis and Audacy ownership. Haze began his career in 2002 at KJCK Manhattan KS and has also held on-air roles at KDGS and KZCH Wichita, KDHT Austin, WXSS Milwaukee, and WDZH Detroit along with being APD of WZNR Norfolk.
iHeartMedia St. Louis/Indianapolis Market President John Beck stated, “Haze is an amazing personality who electrifies every event or show that he appears in. Having held major on-air positions in St. Louis, including here at Z-107.7, Haze has a close relationship with this city and the people in it. We are so excited to welcome him back!”
“Wow. 18 years ago, I left the East Coast to come back to the Midwest to work at the legendary Z 107.7. Since then, I have built a life in St. Louis and call the city my home. My son was born and raised here, I have deep relationships and I wouldn’t want to be in any other city. I am honored to be back. It’s time to make some noise in afternoon drive again!” said Haze.
Afternoons on KSLZ had been tracked by “103.5 Kiss-FM” WKSC Chicago’s Brady.
