Hank Arrives In Salt Lake City

After running a Country tinged Christmas music playlist since November 10, Broadway Media relaunched “101.5 The Eagle” KEGA Oakley/Salt Lake City as Classic Country “101.5 Hank-FM” KNAH.

Utilizing Kroeger Media’s “Hank-FM” brand, the station is now positioning with their “Plays The Legends of Country” tagline. The current airstaff remains in place with Rick Dunn & Carly Cash in mornings, Randy ‘Bubba’ Black in middays, and Program Director ‘The Outlaw’ Pat Garrett in afternoons.

KEGA was previously one of three current based Country stations in the Salt Lake City market with a 1.6 share in the November 2023 Nielsen Audio Ratings. KSOP Inc.’s “Z104” KSOP-FM was sixth with a 5.1 share, while Cumulus Media’s “93.3 The Bull” KUBL was right behind in seventh with a 4.6 share. KSOP Inc. runs an older skewing Classic Country format on 1370 KSOP that does not appear in the ratings.
