After 40 years in the market, Ted ‘Gunner’ Ousley will retire from afternoons at Cumulus Media Country 107.7 WIVK Knoxville TN on Thursday, June 20.
Ousley has been with WIVK since 1996 after previously spending time in his career at 1470 WEAG, 94.3 WKNF-FM, and twelve years at 100.3 WOKI-FM. During his tenure, he spent three months embedded in Iraq in the early 2000s and then hosted a weekly show allowing troops to speak to their families on-air for four years.
