Stephen Miron, Group CEO of Global, said: “What an incredible night! I am so proud that in one evening, we raised more than £1.2 million for Global’s Make Some Noise.

“This means that in the past 10 years since we created the charity, we have raised almost £40 million in total, supported more than 480 projects and small charities, and as a result, we have helped change the lives of more than 200,000 people across the UK.

“This is only possible thanks to the generosity of our big-name music artists, our friends from the world of music and entertainment, the Global family, including our fantastic presenters, and most importantly, our millions of loyal listeners.

“Because of their support, we can ensure that those facing life’s toughest challenges, such as mental health, poverty and homelessness, don’t have to face them alone. A very heartfelt thank you to every single person who has been a part of Global’s Make Some Noise.”
