Oceanic Tradewinds and Compass Media Networks’ “Frank Ski Show” is seeking a new co-host to “add a consistent comedic punch to its already award-winning combination of community, politics, philanthropy, relationships, and current events.”
Oceanic Tradewinds President Gary Bernstein says, “We have made a strategic decision to inject more humor into the program. As we set the table for some big things, it’s the perfect time to reset our talent roster supporting Frank so we can best serve our current and future affiliates.” Ski adds, “This new version of The Frank Ski Show is going to be the best that radio has ever seen.” Interested applicants are told to send their info to Bernstein at gary@oceanictradewinds.com and Executive Producer Loren ‘Hollywood’ Henders at lorenhenderson2237@gmail.com.
Current co-host Nina Brown has exited the show. Brown began her career in 2005 at WVEE Atlanta as an intern before quickly rising to producer of the Ski led “Frank and Wanda Morning Show” until its end in 2011. She followed Ski as producer of his morning show at 96.3 WHUR-FM Washington DC from 2013-15 and back at WVEE from 2018-20. After serving as Ski’s executive assistant and Brand Manager of Frank Ski Global, she then became co-host his morning show at “Kiss 104.1” WALR-FM Atlanta in 2021 until exiting last August and on his afternoon show from its launch at WHUR in August 2020 through its move to syndication in August 2022. WHUR dropped the show at the end of July. Brown separately worked at WXIA-TV Atlanta in 2011. Ski said, “I want to thank Nina Brown for her extremely valuable contributions.”
The Frank Ski Show is syndicated through a partnership between Compass Media Networks and Oceanic Tradewinds and is currently heard on over 20 stations.
