Tyler Gunter’s 5T LLC has acquired Elko Broadcasting Company from Paul & Ketra Gardner for $1 million.
Gunter began operating the company via Time Brokerage Agreement on February 1. He separately entered into an agreement to purchase the station’s studio building and tower site in Elko for $350,000 paid in $2,507.51 monthly installments. Gunter worked for the company from 2000 to 2010 rising to General Manager in 2007. He later owned a janitorial company based in Elko and real estate businesses in Arizona.
Elko Broadcasting Company owns AC 1240 KELK Elko/95.9 K240AI Carlin, Variety Hits “93.7 Jack-FM” KLKO Elko/105.5 W288AU/107.3 K297BC Carlin, Country 95.3 KRJC/98.9 K255CE Elko, and “Fox Sports 104.7” KEAU Elko as well as Country 92.7 KWNA-FM Winnemucca.
