Capital Breakfast and Greggs have teamed up to launch a new breakfast roll called “The Jordan”.
It came about after Jordan North mentioned on air, he enjoys mustard with a squeeze of both ketchup and brown sauce on his breakfast bacon buttie.
The team at Greggs heard about it so hand delivered Jordan and his team a selection of “The Jordan” butties to enjoy in the studio.
Greggs CEO Roisin Currie appeared on the show this morning and said: “If our customers are saying they’d like to try it, then let me see if there’s something we could do”, before going on to admit she was also intrigued to try “The Jordan” for herself.
Now Greggs have announced they will introduce “The Jordan” in five shops across the UK this Friday for one day only.
These shops are Leicester Square London, Grainger Street Newcastle upon Tyne, Queen Street Cardiff, the Bullring Birmingham and of course in Burnley at the Charter Walk Shopping Centre, where from 8am – 11am they’ll give away 100 of “The Jordan” bacon rolls for free, whilst stocks last.
