Money Matters Radio Inc., the company that produces the Financial Exchange Radio program has announced promotions for both Jason Wolfe and Tucker Silva. The popular business radio show, which currently airs across 14 radio stations has named Wolfe, Chief Operating Officer and Silva, Director of Broadcast Operations. The new roles were announced by President and CEO Barry Armstrong and take effect immediately.
Wolfe began his tenure with Money Matters in August of 2014 after an incredibly successful run as the Vice President of Programming and Operations for WEEI and WRKO Radio in Boston. WEEI was a ratings juggernaut winning 6 Marconi Awards under his leadership, and honoring Wolfe twice as Program Director of the Year. In 2002, Wolfe helped create the WEEI-NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon, a 36-hour simulcast with WEEI and NESN to benefit the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. In 20 years, the event has raised 65 million dollars for cancer care and research.
Since joining Money Matters, Wolfe has led the growth of the show’s radio network as well as creating new content and sponsorship opportunities for current and prospective clients, negotiating all network contracts, and expanding the show’s digital footprint through a daily live video stream which can be seen on Facebook, Twitch and the show’s website,www.financialexchangeshow.com . In his role as COO, Wolfe will oversee all aspects of the company’s policies and procedures, including finance, network operations, sales, and marketing.
Silva joined The Financial Exchange as Executive Producer in May of 2015 and is responsible for the daily content of the program, booking all guests, operating the audio console, satellite distribution and all commercial and show-related production. In this new appointment, Silva has taken on a regular on-air role on the show and will also be responsible for managing the day-to- day operations of the broadcast which will include overseeing the programming schedule for WBNW Radio, the coordination of all online video and social media posts, and the management of the show’s website. Silva has also been working as a part-time producer and on-air host at 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston since July 2010.
