Day 3 of Nielsen Audio’s PPM releases are now available for Charlotte, Portland, San Antonio, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, Orlando, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Cleveland and Columbus.

Beasley Media AC “K104.7” WKQC surges up nearly two share points 4.4 to 6.3 to take the Charlotte market lead. After becoming the first Classical station to lead its market in PPM last month, 89.9 WDAV slips to second down 6.4 to 6.1. Beasley Hip Hop “Power 98” WPEG places third 5.8 to 5.6. iHeartMedia Country “96.9 The Kat” WKKT rises 4.2 – 4.8 – 5.4, while sister Variety Hits “102.9 The Lake” WLKO slips 5.5 to 5.1.

Public News/Talk 90.7 WFAE trends up 3.1 – 4.2 – 4.6. In its final monthly as Hip Hop “92.7 The Block“, what is now WFNZ-FM slipped 2.2 to 2.1. The Sports format of 610 WFNZ that added the 92.7 simulcast on the last day of survey period was not listed in the public numbers.

Public News/Talk 91.5 KOPB-FM remains in the lead in Portland down 10.1 to 8.9. iHeartMedia’s combo of Classic Hits “106.7 The Eagle” KLTH (8.4 to 8.3) and AC “K103” KKCW (9.3 to 7.8) follow. Alpha Media’s News/Talk 101.1 KXL rises 7.6 to 7.7, while their Country “98.7 The Bull” KUPL surges up to fifth 2.9 – 4.0 – 4.7.

Audacy Country “99.5 The Wolf” KWJJ trends up 2.3 – 3.4 – 3.9, while Classical 89.9 KQAC trends down 5.5 – 4.5 – 3.5.

Cox Classic Hits 101.1 KONO-FM (6.2 – 6.8 – 7.1) and iHeartMedia AC “Q101.9” KQXT (7.0 to 7.1) tie atop San Antonio. iHeartMedia Country “KJ 97” KAJA jumps up 4.4 – 4.7 – 6.1. Cox Classic Rock “106.7 The Eagle” KTKX slips from first to fourth 7.3 to 5.9. iHeartMedia CHR “Now 96.1” KXXM rises 3.3 – 5.4 – 5.7.

Also on the upswing in San Antonio are iHeartMedia News/Talk 1200 WOAI (3.7 – 4.4 – 5.1) and Alpha Media Variety Hits “102.7 Jack-FM” KJXK (3.6 – 3.7 – 4.5).

Audacy Classic Rock “Eagle 96.9” KSEG Sacramento trends up 8.1 – 9.3 – 10.2. Bonneville AC “Mix 96” KYMX holds in second 7.5 to 7.6. iHeartMedia News/Talk 1530 KFBK/93.1 KFBK-FM slides 7.1 to 6.5 to tie for third with Bonneville’s surging Country 105.1 KNCI (3.3 – 5.4 – 6.5). iHeartMedia Soft AC “92.5 The Breeze” KBEB places fifth 5.8 to 5.7.

Trending up in Sacramento are Audacy Alternative “Alt 94.7” KKDO (2.8 – 3.1 – 3.5) and Entravision Spanish Rhythmic “Fuego 101.9” KHHM (0.9 – 1.2 – 1.5). Sliding down is Audacy’s “98 Rock” KRXQ (5.7 – 5.1 – 4.3).

iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 570 KNRS/105.9 KNRS-FM rises 7.6 to 8.4 to claim the Salt Lake City lead. iHeartMedia Classic Hits 94.1 KODJ slips 7.8 to 7.0. KSOP Inc. Country “Z104.3” KSOP-FM falls 7.4 to 6.3. Bonneville News/Talk 1160 KSL/102.7 KSL-FM drops 6.5 to 6.0, while sister AC “FM 100” KSFI is down 6.0 to 5.0 for what Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is its lowest since November 2012. KSFI ties with Classical 89.1 KBYU-FM which surges up 2.3 – 3.4 – 5.0 to set a station record high.

Trending up in Salt Lake City are iHeartMedia CHR 97.1 KZHT (2.6 – 3.6 – 4.6) and “Rock 106.7” KAAZ (2.5 – 3.6 – 3.9), Cumulus Country “K-Bull 93” KUBL (2.1 – 2.7 – 3.7) and AC “B98.7” KBEE (1.8 – 2.5 – 2.9), and Broadway Media Oldies “105.5 Kool-FM” K288GY/KUDD-HD2 (0.6 – 1.5 – 1.7). Trending downward was Bonneville Classic Rock “103.5 The Arrow” KRSP (5.9 – 5.7 – 4.5).

iHeartMedia CHR “XL 106.7” WXXL leads Orlando 8.3 to 7.9. Cox Classic Rock 98.9 WMMO rises to second 5.6 – 6.8 – 7.8. Cox Adult R&B “Star 94.5” WCFB slips 7.6 to 7.0. A three-way tie for fourth sees iHeartMedia’s Spanish Tropical “Rumba 100.3” WRUM and Hot Talk “Real Radio 104.1” WTKS-FM both rise 6.2 to 6.3, while Audacy Classic Hits “105.9 Sunny-FM” WOCL dips 6.4 to 6.3.

Cox Country “K92.3” WWKA trends up 3.9 – 4.3 – 4.6, iHeartMedia Hip Hop “104.5 The Beat” W283AN/WTKS-HD2 rises 1.6 – 2.5 – 3.0, while Audacy Alternative “FM 101.9” WQMP is up 2.2 – 2.4 – 2.8. Cox Spanish Hot AC “Exitos 96.5” WOEX slips 6.1 – 5.8 – 5.1.

iHeartMedia AC “Sunny 106.5” KSNE leads Las Vegas up 6.9 to 7.4. Beasley Classic Hits 96.3 KKLZ slips to second 7.0 – 6.8. Lotus Classic Rock “97.1 The Point” KXPT trends up 4.4 – 5.5 – 5.7. Beasley Adult R&B “Jammin 105.7” KOAS jumps 3.7 to 5.2. SOS Radio Christian AC 90.5 KSOS-FM is fifth 5.2 to 5.0.

iHeartMedia Classic Hits “94.5 3WS” WWSW increases its Pittsburgh leading share 10.1 to 10.8. Steel City Media Variety Hits “96.9 Bob-FM” WRRK rises 9.0 to 9.8 for what Huff notes is the largest share in station history. iHeartMedia Rock 102.5 WDVE rises 8.7 to 9.1. Audacy Sports “93.7 The Fan” KDKA-FM is off 9.1 to 7.5. iHeartMedia Alternative “105.9 The X” WXDX slips 5.6 to 5.4.

Two stations continue to account for nearly 1/4 of all listening in Cincinnati. Cumulus Classic Hits 103.5 WGRR dips 13.4 to 12.6, while iHeartMedia News/Talk 700 WLW celebrates its 100th birthday today with an 11.5 to 12.3 gain. Hubbard CHR “Q102” WKRQ dips 7.3 to 6.8. iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 550 WKRC drops 7.0 to 5.3. Public News/Talk 91.7 WVXU rises 4.8 to 5.1 for what Huff notes is its highest share ever.

iHeartMedia Rock 102.7 WEBN trends up 3.1 – 4.0 – 4.6.

Audacy News/Talk 98.1 KMBZ-FM takes the Kansas City market lead with a 7.2 to 7.8 gain. Huff notes its the largest share for the KMBZ brand since 1987 on then 980 KMBZ. Cumulus Classic Rock “101 The Fox” KCFX holds at a 7.6 share, while sister Classic Hits 94.9 KCMO-FM dips 7.3 to 6.9. Public News/Talk 89.3 KCUR rises 6.0 to 6.5. Audacy’s “98.9 The Rock” KQRC is up 6.3 to 6.4.

Radio One Adult R&B 93.1 WZAK remains on top of Cleveland 11.3 to 11.1. Audacy’s duo of Classic Rock 98.5 WNCX (9.1 to 8.6) and AC “Star 102.1” WDOK (8.3 to 8.0) follow. iHeartMedia’s duo of Classic Hits “Majic 105.7” WMJI (7.6 to 7.4) and Variety Hits “106.5 The Lake” WHLK (5.7 – 6.0 – 6.4) take fourth and fifth.

iHeartMedia’s trio of News/Talk 1100/106.9 WTAM (4.4 – 4.7 – 5.5), Country 99.5 WGAR (4.3 to 5.1), and Rock 100.7 WMMS (4.2 – 4.7 – 5.0) all trend upwards as does Ideastream Classical 104.9 WCLV-FM (1.6. – 2.6 – 2.7) ahead of its forthcoming frequency upgrade.

iHeartMedia News/Talk 610 WTVN rises 8.5 to 9.3 to become the new leader in Columbus. TEGNA Sports “97.1 The Fan” WBNS-FM falls 9.5 to 8.8. Public News/Talk 89.8 WOSU-FM is up 7.7 to 8.3. iHeartMedia CHR 97.9 WNCI slips 8.8 to 7.6, and Country 92.3 WCOL is down 7.8 to 6.7.

Saga AC 94.7 WSNY rises 4.9 to 6.1, while Radio One Adult R&B “Magic 95.5” WXMG is down 3.6 – 3.1 – 2.3.
