FCC Seal 2020 Federal Communications CommissionWinnebago Tribe of Nebraska’s 100.9 KWTN Allen NE has been issued a limited one-year license renewal due to extended periods of silence during its previous term. KWTN was silent at the time of its transfer to the tribe in September 2018 until September 23, 2019, October 2, 2019 to September 16, 2020, September 21, 2020 to March 26, 2021 and March 28, 2021 to April 24, 2021. KWTN will be required to file its next renewal application by July 1, 2023 ahead of its license expiring on November 29.

The FCC is opening a comment period for Skye Media LLC’s petition for rulemaking to add a Class C on 94.5 in Ralston WY to the FM Table of Allotments.
