License Cancellations
Ben Jordan Communications Corporation’s 91.9 WBRQ La Grange GA has been cancelled after not replying to an FCC inquiry. The commission noted that in May 2022, they received a complaint that WBRQ was operating from an unauthorized site which was confirmed by field agents that July. In July 2023, Crown Castle told the FCC that the company has no record that WBRQ ever operated at its licensed site since signing-on in 2011.
The FCC has has cancelled the license of New Beginnings Movement’s 990 WNAP Muncie IN after the licensee failed to respond to an inquiry stating that the station had been off the air or operating with unauthorized facilities since at least July 30, 2022.
Maria Guel’s Hispanic Family Christian Network has surrendered the licenses of three stations: 88.9 KRIQ-FM Richton MS, 91.7 KZYU-FM Wellton AZ, and 105.5 KZOB-FM O’Brien TX.

FCC Actions
The FCC has issued a round of EEO audit letters to randomly selected radio and television stations. The list of stations being audited can be found here.
The FCC is issuing an Order to Pay or to Show Cause to Y2K LLC Hot AC “Q104.5” KSLQ-FM Washington MO over failure to pay delinquent regulatory fees and associated interest, administrative costs, and penalties owed from 2010 through 2023. The FCC states that KSLQ owes $25,893.90.
