The Universal Church is converting its LMA of 96.7 KWIZ Santa Ana CA to an outright purchase.
The Universal Church began operating the Estrella Media owned station on January 1 when they flipped Regional Mexican Oldies “La Ranchera 96.7” to Spanish Christian programming as “Vision Latina 96.7”. They will now purchase the station outright for $8 million. KWIZ covers Orange County in the southern half of the Los Angeles market.
The buyers also operate a Spanish Christian television network based at KJLA Ventura/Los Angeles.
Estrella Media retains its Regional Mexican trimulcast “Que Buena” 94.3 KBUA San Fernando, 94.3 KEBN Garden Grove, and 105.5 KBUE Long Beach plus brokered Vietnamese “Little Saigon Radio” 1480 KVNR Santa Ana and KRCA-TV Los Angeles in the market.
