iHeartMedia Sports “ESPN 96.1” WMAX-FM Holland/Grand Rapids MI has rebranded as “96.1 The Game“.
With the name change, WMAX-FM adds Michigan Sports Network’s “X’s and Bro’s” hosted by Anthony Bellino for mornings from 6 to 9am and “The Huge Show” hosted by Bill Simonson from 3-6pm. The two shows were also added today by Beasley Media in Detroit.
Both shows move over from Cumulus Media’s “The Ticket” 1340 WJRW/106.1 W291DJ Grand Rapids and 1490 WBBL/99.1 W256DM Whitehall/Muskegon. The latter is now simulcasting “97.5 Nash Icon” WLAW-FM Whitehall.
ESPN Radio programming will continue to air in all other dayparts at WMAX-FM.
