Waterloo Media continues to build up the local lineup on Sports “ESPN 102.7” K274AX/KBPA-HD2 Austin as longtime market personality Erin Hogan joins the station to host “Game Time” in mornings from 7-10am alongside Nick Hadja.
Hogan most recently served as PD/morning host at Genuine Austin Radio’s “The Horn” 1260 KTAE (formerly 104.9 KTXX-FM) and had been part of the station from 2009 until the end of February after previous stints at 1490 KFON and co-hosting mornings at “1300 The Zone” KVET from 1999 to 2009. Hadja was most recently part of multiple morning shows at Waterloo Alternative “101X” KROX and co-hosting 11am-1pm on K274AX.
ESPN Radio’s Greeny will follow the morning show from 10am-12pm. “Three Guys on Sports” featuring Hadja, Noah Kreitz, and Sawyer Stull from 12-2pm will be followed by an hour of ESPN Radio’s Freddie and Harry from 2-3pm. Jeff Ward, who originally joined the station in January 2023 as midday host, hosts a solo hour from 3-4pm and then is joined by Ed Clements from 4-6pm. “Sports Day Plus” with Trey Elling will air from 6-7pm with ESPN Radio network programming and Houston Astros baseball covering nights.
Career update:
Just wanted to let everyone know that today was my last show on The Horn.
It’s been an incredible 15 year run, full of twists, turns, and challenges — but it has also been an absolute blast, including the past 7 months working alongside the great, Rod Babers.— Erin Hogan (@ErinHogan) February 29, 2024
I can not possibly express enough appreciation for any time you have spent tuning-in to me, and to our various shows over the past decade and a half, and hope you’ll give the new show a listen when we go live next week.
Onward and upward —— Erin Hogan (@ErinHogan) February 29, 2024
