El Bueno, La Mala y El Feo Add Houston & San Antonio Mornings As Raul Brindis Exits Univision

After 27 years at Univision Houston’s Reigonal Mexican “Que Buena 102.9” KLTN Houston, Raul Brindis exited just before the holidays.

Previously airing across much of Univision’s footprint as well as on television in multiple Texas markets, Brindis’ show was down to a handful of affiliates including Univision’s “Que Buena 92.9” KROM San Antonio and Continental Broadcast Group’s “Radio Latina 107.1” WEDJ Indianapolis. During most of his tenure, Brindis also served as Program Director of KLTN, first on 93.3 and since 1998 on 102.9.

Brindis’ management released a note in Spanish that translates to “To the general public, sponsors and affiliated companies Thank you to all that wonderful audience of the Raúl Brindis Show for keeping an eye on the moment when he will return to be with you Soon you will be able to find out the details of the situation, as well as every detail to enjoy your radio program and podcast again Meanwhile, we invite you to continue following him on his social networks.”

KLTN and KROM have moved Univision’s “El Bueno, La Mala y El Feo” from middays to mornings. The addition of those two stations comes with the addition of “Oye 89.7” XEOYE-FM Mexico City morning host Pao Sasso as their new “La Mala” following the exit of Carla Medrano last summer. Sasso joins incumbent hosts Raul ‘El Bueno’ Molinar and Andres ‘El Feo’ Maldonado, who have been with the show since its 2013 launch.
