E Radio Network Acquires Five In Texarkana Area Out Of Bankruptcy

Freed AM Corp Robert Bob Delgiorno ESPN Fox Sports Texarkana Caddo CountryChristie Tate’s E Radio Network is purchasing five stations and four translators in and near Texarkana from the Chapter 7 bankruptcy liquidation trust led by Roddrick B Newhouse.

Newhouse was appointed trustee overseeing the divestment of Robert Delgiorno’s Freed AM Corp. and MLS Broadcasting following Delgiorno ceasing operations last November and subsequent bankruptcy filing. E Radio Network will pay $325,000 to acquire the former “ESPN 94.1” KTRG Hooks/Texarkana TX, “Fox Sports Texarkana” 1400 KKTK/97.1 K246CR Texarkana TX, Classic Country “Caddo Country 105.3” KNCB-FM Vivian LA, Rock “K104” 1320 KNCB/104.1 K281CY Vivian LA, and Classic Country “Caddo Country” 670 KHGZ/98.9 K255BH/107.9 K300DJ Glenwood AR. The ESPN Radio affiliation that had been on KTRG moved to Local First Media Group’s 940 KTFS/105.9 K290CP Texarkana at the start of 2024.

They will join E Radio Networks’ pair of stations in Greenville TX: “ESPN 1400” KGVL Greenville/105.9 K290AP Commerce/107.7 K299BZ Caddo Mills and Country/AC “93.5 The Coyote” KIKT Cooper.

Not included in the deal are 900 KPYN and translators 95.5 K238BF and 103.9 K280GV Atlanta TX.
