DJ Prostyle Joins WKTU As Evening Host

DJ Prostyle is returning to iHeartMedia New York as evening host at Hot AC 103.5 WKTU Lake Success starting Monday, November 13.

The Queens native previously spent ten years as Music Director, mixer and midday host at sister Hip Hop “Power 105.1” WWPR-FM from 2010 until 2021 when he moved to a multi-market role with the company in Florida where he has been hosting afternoons on Hip Hop “95.7 The Beat” WBTP Tampa, nights on “104.5 The Beat” W283AN/WTKS-HD2 Altamonte Springs/Orlando and mixing for select iHeartMedia Hip Hop and Spanish CHR stations in Miami, Orlando, Tampa, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Fort Myers and Tallahassee. Prior to joining WWPR-FM in 2010, Prostyle previously worked at “Power 95.3” WPYO and “102 Jamz” WJHM in the Orlando market. He also has served as a host and mixer for BET.

“The Pro Show” will fill the 7pm-12am timeslot that had been held by Mariana ‘Lulu’ Gonzalez and Marissa ‘Lala’ Gonzalez until their exit last month.

iHeartMedia’s 103.5 KTU, The Beat of New York, announced today the addition of market veteran, DJ Prostyle. Debuting November 13, “The Pro Show” will broadcast live on weeknights from 7 p.m. – midnight ET.

As host of “The Pro Show,” the Queens native will bring his “Party Starter” style to life with custom music mixes, hyper-localized content, huge live events and more!

DJ Prostyle started his career at the age of 16 and quickly moved through the ranks as a nationally recognized music producer, resident DJ for BET’s 106 & Park, and top-ranked on-air talent most recently at 95.7 The Beat, 104.5 The Beat and Power 105.1.
