Civic Media rebranded Liberal Talk “Devil Radio 92.7” WTTN Columbus/W224EG Madison WI as “Mad Radio” under new WMDX call letters.
The rebrand follows Civic Media closing on its purchase of the stations from Good Karma Brands for $363,000 minus LMA fees since May 2021. Civic Media partner Mike Crute began operating the station in 2018. No programming changes accompanied the rebrand.
The “Mad Radio” branding previously had a long run in the market on 92.1 and later 96.3 WMAD tied to their Rock and Alternative formats from the early 80s until 2005.
