Delmarva Educational Association Flips Dayton Pair

Delmarva Educational Association has closed on its acquisition of two Dayton OH stations from iHeartMedia’s Aloha Stations Trust.

With the acquisition the organization has debuted new programming on both of its stations. Country “B94.5” WYDB Englewood has flipped to Conservative Talk. The station is currently running a survey on its new website asking what syndicated shows it should carry. The options include most Premiere Networks, Westwood One, and Salem Radio Network programs including Glenn Beck, Clay Travis & Buck Sexton, Dan Bongino, Mike Gallagher and Dennis Prager. The flip places WYDB in direct competition with Cox Media Group’s 1290 WHIO/95.7 WHIO-FM.

The former Oldies “Big 106.5” WRZX-FM has joined the Christian Preaching “Truth Network” owned by related company Truth Broadcasting as WTKD. WTKD is simulcasting with new sister station 106.5 WTOD Delta/Toledo. Prior to the closing, iHeartMedia parked the WRZX call letters on the former 1400 WCOH Newnan GA.
