Audacy AC “B101” WBEB Philadelphia has announced that it will begin carrying Premiere Networks’ Delilah from 7pm to 12am starting tonight.
Delilah was most recently heard in Philadelphia on iHeartMedia’s “106.1 The Breeze” WISX until its flip to Spanish CHR “Rumba 106.1” last March. She is also heard on Beasley Media’s “Mix 99.5” WJBR Wilmington DE, which covers much of the Philadelphia market.
Morning show producer Laura Boss had been tracking nights.
Audacy’s B101 (WBEB-FM) announced today the addition of nationally-syndicated personality Delilah. Effective today, February 6, the popular host now broadcasts on the station nightly, Monday through Friday, from 7 p.m. to midnight ET.
The top-rated show features Delilah’s distinctive blend of story-telling, sympathetic listening, and encouragement – all scored with adult contemporary music. Often referred to as the “Oprah of Radio,” Delilah attracts millions of listeners on more than 150 radio stations nationwide, making her the most listened-to woman on radio in the U.S. For her work on the program, the Marconi Award winner has been inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Broadcasting Hall of Fame and the National Radio Hall of Fame. “Thank you, B101!” said Delilah. “I love everything about Philly – from the Museum of Art to the amazing public art displayed so beautifully on all the buildings. I love the people of this city, the food, the cheesesteaks, the rich history, the Liberty Bell, Rittenhouse Square, the Brandywine River, Independence Square and City Center. It’s so good to be back with the folks I love!”
“We’re very excited to add Delilah to B101,” said David Yadgaroff, Senior Vice President and Market Manager for Audacy Philadelphia. “Her iconic show is the perfect addition to our lineup, and I know our listeners and advertisers will embrace her.”
