Nielsen Audio has released Day 2 of its monthly four day sweep of ratings in PPM markets.
Today’s releases include Washington DC, Boston, Seattle, Miami, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Denver, San Diego, Baltimore, and St. Louis.

Public News/Talk 88.5 WAMU maintains its DC market lead down 12.7 to 11.3. iHeartMedia AC 97.1 WASH rises 7.9 to 9.6. Hubbard News 103.5 WTOP is down 7.4 to 6.9. Howard University Adult R&B 96.3 WHUR is up 6.6 to 6.8. Radio One Adult R&B “Majic 102.3/92.7” WMMJ/WDCJ holds at a 5.8 share.
Audacy Classic Hits “94.7 The Drive” WIAD rises 3.7 to 4.3. Radio One Hip Hop 93.9 WKYS gains 3.3 to 3.8. Classical 90.9 WETA-FM jumps 2.1 to 3.4.
Atlantic Gateway Communications Christian AC 91.9 WGTS drops 4.8 – 4.4 – 3.6. Cumulus Conservative Talk 105.9 WMAL is down 4.6 to 3.5.
Boston
Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX rises 5.5 to 9.3. Beasley’s “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM declines 10.7 to 9.2. Public News/Talk 90.9 WBUR is down 6.4 to 5.6. iHeartMedia Classic Rock 100.7 WZLX holds at a 5.4 share. iHeart News 1030 WBZ is up 5.0 to 5.1.
iHeartMedia CHR “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM falls 4.9 to 4.1, which Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is the lowest share on the station since Summer 1980. Audacy Hot AC “Mix 104.1” WWBX is down 4.9 to 4.3.
Audacy Variety Hits “Big 103” WBGB rises 3.1 to 3.6. iHeartMedia Country “101.7 The Bull” WBWL slides down 2.7 – 2.1 – 1.8. Northeast Broadcasting AAA “92.5 The River” WXRV drops 2.4 to 1.8.
Seattle/Tacoma
The top of the Seattle market compresses with Audacy Country “100.7 The Wolf” KKWF down 8.3 to 6.7 to retain its lead. Public News/Talk 94.9 KUOW-FM drops 6.8 to 6.2. Hubbard AC “Warm 106.9” KRWM jumps 4.2 to 6.0 to tie for third with iHeartMedia Classic Rock 102.5 KZOK as it rises 5.7 to 6.0. iHeart Classic Hits “95.7 The Jet” KJEB is up 4.7 – 5.0 – 5.3.
Audacy Soft AC “94.1 The Sound” KSWD has a holiday bump up 3.8 to 4.9. Nathan Hale High School Dance “C89.5” KNHC trends up 0.6 – 0.8 – 1.2.
Audacy Rock 99.9 KISW slides 5.5 – 5.0 – 4.8. Bonneville News/Talk 97.3 KIRO-FM declines 4.7 to 4.1. Hubbard CHR “Movin 92.5” KQMV falls 4.7 to 3.9.
Miami/Fort Lauderdale
Cox Adult R&B “Hot 105” WHQT holds its lead up 8.5 to 8.3. Univision Spanish AC “Amor 107.5” WAMR holds at a 7.1 share. Cox Soft AC “Easy 93.1” WFEZ is off 6.0 to 5.8. Audacy AC “101.5 Lite-FM” WLYF rises 5.1 to 5.7. SBS Spanish Rhythmic “El Zol 106.7” WXDJ jumps up 3.4 to 4.5.
Following its Black Friday flip from Hot AC to Bilingual AC, iHeartMedia’s “Magic 93.9” WMIA-FM climbs out of the gate 2.3 to 3.2. Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes that is the largest share on the frequency since May 2018, which was three formats ago for the station.
Cox Hip Hop “99 Jamz” WEDR rises 2.9 to 3.4. Audacy Gold CHR “Power 96” WPOW-FM slides 2.5 – 2.2 – 1.8, while sister Sports 560 WQAM is down 2.3 – 2.1 – 1.2.
Phoenix
iHeartMedia AC “99.9 KEZ” KESZ climbs from a 8.2 all the way to 15.2, which Huff notes beats its previous December monthly high of 12.9 in 2021. Hubbard Classic Rock 100.7 KSLX dips 7.6 to 7.2. Desert Valley Media Oldies “94.9/95.1 The Wow Factor” KOAI is off 5.3 to 5.0. Hubbard Rock “98 KUPD” is off 5.0 to 4.6, while co-owned Alternative “Alt AZ 93.3” KDKB rises 3.4 to 4.2.
iHeartMedia Variety Hits “95.5 The Mountain” KYOT drops 4.3 to 3.6. Bonneville News/Talk 92.3 KTAR-fM drops 2.7 to 1.8. Both Country stations drop with Audacy’s 107.9 KMLE down 3.4 to 2.9 and iHeartMedia’s 102.5 KNIX down 3.5 to 2.8.
Family Life Broadcasting Christian AC 90.3 KFLR rises 1.6 to 2.2.

iHeartMedia AC 100.3 WNIC takes the Motor City lead up 7.5 to 11.8. Audacy Sports “97.1 The Ticket” WXYT-FM holds at a 9.6 share, although its stream adds an additional 1.7. iHeartMedia CHR “Channel 95.5” WKQI dips 6.9 to 6.6. Beasley Classic Rock 94.7 WCSX (6.6 to 6.4) and Audacy Country 99.5 WYCD (6.9 to 6.4) tie for fourth.
iHeartMedia Adult R&B “Mix 92.3” KMXD trends down 6.8 – 5.9 – 5.4. Audacy Classic Hits 104.3 WOMC drops 5.5 to 4.8.
Minneapolis/St. Paul
iHeartMedia Classic Hits “Kool 108” KQQL uses its Christmas music position to jump 7.0 to 12.2. Northwestern Media Christian AC 98.5 KTIS-FM drops 10.3 to 9.6. iHeart Sports “100.3 KFAN” KFXN-FM falls 8.9 to 7.6. Hubbard Hot AC “KS 95” KSTP-FM falls 7.0 to 5.9. Public News/Talk 91.1 KNOW-FM (5.7 to 5.5) and Cumulus Media Rock “93X” KXXR (5.6 to 5.5) tie for fifth.
iHeartMedia Country “K102” KEEY drops 5.4 to 4.3, while sister CHR 101.3 KDWB trends down 4.7 – 4.1 – 3.4 for what Huff notes is its lowest share since April/May 1980.
Audacy Variety Hits “104.1 Jack-FM” KZJK trends down 5.8 – 5.2 – 4.7.

Cox Soft AC 105.5 WDUV rises 6.8 to 8.2 with its earlier than in the past Christmas music shift. Beasley Media Country 99.5 WQYK dips 6.0 to 5.7. iHeartMedia Country “US 103.5” WFUS (5.4 to 5.5) and Cox Classic Rock “107.3 The Eagle” WXGL (rising 4.7 to 5.5) tie for third. Beasley Classic Hits “Q105” WRBQ is down 6.0 to 5.3.
Christmas music shifts also help iHeartMedia AC “Mix 100.7” WMTX to rise 3.8 to 5.1 and Radio Training Network’s Christian AC “The Joy FM” 91.5 WCIE to gain 3.8 – 4.3 – 5.0.
Since its launch in September, Cox Adult R&B “101.5 The Vibe” WTBV is up for the fourth straight month 2.8 – 3.8 – 4.0.
Beasley Rhythmic CHR “Wild 94.1” WLLD drops 4.9 – 3.8 – 3.4. iHeartMedia CHR 93.3 WFLZ ends its downward slide up 2.3 to 2.5. Beasley Classic Rock “98.7 The Shark” WPBB swings 2.6 – 4.1 – 2.9.
