After over 40 years hosting “Bedtime Magic” at night on Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX Boston, David Allan Boucher will be winding the show down in the next few weeks.
Boucher has been with WMJX since its launch in 1982 and was the first on-air voice heard on the station. Boucher wrote, “40 years is a long time and I feel very fortunate to have been able to spend that time at one dial position, one time slot, on one great radio station. I’m very grateful to the generations of friends who spend so many years with us every night. Without them…there wouldn’t have been a show.”
Audacy has not yet announced when Boucher’s final day will be. Prior to joining WMJX in 1982, Boucher worked at multiple stations across New England including WRKO and WROR Boston, WKBR Manchester NH, WLKW Providence RI, and WMAS Springfield MA.
