Salem Media Group Christian AC 94.9 KLTY Arlington/Dallas TX is importing Dave Moore to host afternoons starting Monday, September 23.
Moore joins KLTY from Intentional Life Media’s “Family Life Radio” in Tucson. The New Jersey native previously had two tenures at 99.1 WAWZ Zarepath and has also worked in secular formats including five years in afternoons at AC “B101” WBEB Philadelphia, plus Alternatives WJSE Atlantic City and WHTG-FM Eatontown NJ, The Wall Street Journal Radio Network, and weekends at WMWX and WPTP Philadelphia.
KLTY PD Mike Prendergast said “I’m so excited to have Dave on the team. I met Dave on a mission trip to Haiti in 2017 and have been a fan of his ever since. Dave is a seasoned pro, spending time in mornings at Star 99.1 in New York City, middays at Star 93.3 in Cincinnati and afternoons at the legendary B101 in Philadelphia. Most recently he’s been at Family Life Radio in Tucson doing afternoons on the network. Dave has a heart of gold and a servant’s attitude, willing to go above and beyond for those in need. I know he’ll serve our North Texas family well and I can’t wait to get him in the building! He’ll look great in a World Series Champion Texas Rangers ball cap!”
Moore followed, “I still cannot believe I’m going to be working at KLTY! This has been one of those “maybe one day” dreams and it’s come true! I’m so grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to get to know the listeners in DFW.”
Moore fills the opening created by Bonnie Curry and Jeremiah Richardson’s move to mornings.
