Hearst News/Talk 1090 WBAL/101.5 W268BA Baltimore has announced the move of evening host Dan Joseph to afternoons to join current afternoon host Torrey Snow.
Joseph joined WBAL in August 2018 after previously serving as a blogger and video reporter for conservative advocacy group Media Research Center. The evening show has been mostly pre-empted since the station readded Baltimore Orioles baseball this year. Snow has hosted afternoons since August 2020 after previously serving as a contributor and fill-in host at the station.
WBAL NewsRadio 1090/FM 101.5 announces a new Afternoon Drive Show – The Torrey and Dan Show. Already familiar to station listeners through their individual long-standing programs, Torrey Snow and Dan Joseph are combining forces to co-host weekday afternoons from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Torrey had previously helmed The Torrey Snow Program since August of 2020. His passion for Maryland politics and serving the community continue to fuel his desire to raise awareness to urgent issues facing the region.
On the heels of hosting duties for The Dan Joseph Show for the past four years, Dan will continue to deliver his unique brand of politics to the afternoon drive audience. His fearless approach, Torrey’s passion, and a mutual desire to hold those in power accountable serve as fertile ground for dynamic conversations on the topics that matter the most to Marylanders.
“The Torrey and Dan Show is a terrific opportunity for two top-notch hosts to join forces and offer our listeners a dynamic show that touches on a wide range of topics every day,” said Dan Joerres, President and General Manager. “Our responsibility is to our listeners and this show further amplifies that commitment as the leading news/talk station in Baltimore and beyond.”
Listeners can hear the official debut of The Torrey & Dan Show on May 23 at 2 p.m.
