Cumulus Media is preparing to move two of its Boise ID brands in January 2022.
Sports “93.1 The Ticket” 1350 KTIK Nampa/93.1 KTIK-FM New Plymouth has begun promoting on-air that it will move off the Class C FM signal to the recently launched 95.3 K237HA Nampa translator on Monday, January 3. The 99w/816m signal will cover all of Boise proper.
As we first indicated in our 6/6 Domain Insight, that will enable Cumulus to add an FM simulcast for Conservative Talk 670 KBOI Boise. KBOI has begun teasing an upcoming announcement regarding another change coming to the station.
KBOI ranked third in the Boise market with a 5.4 share in the Spring 2021 Nielsen Audio ratings, down from a market leading 7.8 in Fall 2020. KTIK/KTIK-FM was tied for 20th in the market with a 2.0 share.
