Midday host Melissa Quinones has been promoted to Music Director and afternoon host. Quinones had moved to middays in October 2019 after five years as a part-time host at the station.
Joining the station as midday host is market veteran Jay Edwards. Edwards had been serving as a producer and host at sister News/Talk 580/107.3 WDBO since departing Audacy Hot AC “Mix 105.1” WOMX in December 2021. Edwards spent 25 years at WOMX including 21 years as part of the morning show.
Edwards will also host afternoons at WMMO. That slot had been held by Quinones in a dual role since the exit of former PD/afternoon host Hildi Brooks in 2021.
