Cox Announces New Market Managers in Houston & Orlando

Cox Media Group ApolloCox Media Group has announced the appointments of Stephanie Callihan as VP/Market Manager of its Houston cluster and JC Campese to the same role in Orlando.

Callihan joined Cox Houston in 2021 as Director of Sales. She has previously served as SVP/Market President for Audacy Austin and iHeartMedia Wichita KS, and thirteen years as Director of Sales for ABC Radio and then Citadel Dallas.

Campese has been Director of Sales for Cox Orlando since August 2019 and with the cluster since 2000 rising from Director of Events to Digital Sales Manager then General Sales Manager. He previously spent seven years at the Nationwide turned AMFM turned CBS Radio cluster rising from intern to on-air and Director of Marketing.

The appointments fill the vacancies created by the departure of Keith Lawless as Houston/Tampa Market Manager and Jason Meder’s subsequent move from Orlando to Tampa in August.

Callihan joined CMG Houston in 2021 as the Director of Sales. She brings over 30 years of experience in sales and marketing to her new position. Prior to joining CMG, Callihan worked as Senior Vice President and Market Manager for Audacy, Vice President and Market Manager for iHeart Media, and Director of Sales for Citadel and ABC-Disney.

In 2000, Campese launched his career with CMG and continued to progress from Director of Events to Digital Sales Manager, then to General Sales Manager, followed by Director of Sales in Orlando. Along the way, Campese has helped shape the business strategy, sales and marketing innovation, and revenue for CMG Orlando’s radio cluster.
