After just over three years hosting the 9am to 12pm show at Audacy News/Talk 830 WCCO Minneapolis, Cory Hepola has departed the station.
Hepola announced on Monday evening his tenure with WCCO had come to an end. He joined the station at the start of 2019 after previously spending his entire career in television. Hepola anchored mornings at KARE-TV Minneapolis from 2015 to 2019 after previously working as a sportscaster in multiple markets including Fargo, Rochester NY, Austin and serving as pre and post-game host for the Houston Astros.
BringMeTheNews reports that Hepola was last heard on Tuesday, February 8, the same day he told a Minnesota Public Radio reporter that he was considering a run for Governor of Minnesota.
