Fredericks launched “The Torch” on LHTC Media’s 920 WMMN Fairmont/95.7 W239CM Morgantown, 102.7 WGYE Mannington/Fairmont, and 105.7 WHTI Salem/Clarksburg.

At closing in September, WGYE flipped from Country “Froggy” to CHR “Hot 102.7” and WHTI from Hot AC “Hot 105.7” to a simulcast of Variety Hits “100.9 Jack-FM” WZST Westover/Morgantown. WMMN/W239CM had been Sports “The Mountaineer Ticket“.

The new format is positioning as “West Virginia’s MAGA Torch” with a lineup similar to most of his other stations that features Fredericks in mornings from 6-10am and 6-7pm, Steve Bannon from 10am-12pm and 5-6pm, Rob Carson from 12-3pm, Del Walmsley 3-5pm, Lou Dobbs Tonight from 7-8pm, Royce White Show 8-9pm, Free Talk Live 9-10pm, Rita Cosby Show 10pm-12am, Cats & Cosby 12-1am, and Red Eye Radio overnight. The stations will also carry Pittsburgh Penguins hockey, while WMMN/W293CM will continue to carry University of West Virginia baseball.

The West Virginia stations become Fredericks eighth market for his group that is also heard in Richmond, Lynchburg, and Norfolk VA, Atlanta GA, Nashville TN, and Philadelphia and Latrobe PA. LHTC Media continues to operate WZST, Oldies “Buzz 98.3” 1490 WBKE Fairmont/98.3 W252EF Morgantown, Rock “94 Rock” 94.3 WRLF Fairmont, and 103.9 W280FF Morgantown.
